13th Book Review

I read Mike's Lucky Day. This is a couple's love story.
Mike is an assistant van driver. One day, Mike and driver Bill drive to Mr. Morgan's shop. Bill says Morgan's daughter, Jennifer, is always in his shop and very beautiful girl. Mike sees her, falls in love with her soo. Then she does, too. A few days later, he asks her out. The important day, in time Mike is in the van with Bill. No cars or buses in the street are moving. Mike is late! The bus comes. Unfortunately, he can't find his money in his trousers or anywhere. He comes back, but the door of his house is closed and he doesn't have the key! Jennifer who doesn't know his situation is so angry. She backs to her home. Mike calls her everyday. She doesn't want to answer his calls. So he takes the letter written 'his heart' to the shop. Jennifer is there, but she doesn't look him. After he goes out shop, Jennifer reads the letter and knows his really heart. Finally, Jennifer and Mike tell own heart each other. the two youngers are being happy!
I like this love situation! I can be happy, too.

Christmas!!

How do you have on this year's Christmas? I'll not have a enjoyable on Christmas. Because I'll have my part time job then. I work in pastry shop. So I have to work! It's just inconceivable! My pleasure is only Christmas Cake!

12th Book Review

I read a book Of Mice and Men.
Lennie Small is a big man. He is friendly, and he loves animals and soft things. But Lennie is not very intelligent and he is too strong. He gets scared easily and he often hurts things by accident. George Milton is Lennie's best friend. He is smarter the¥an Lennie, so he tries to help his friend. George and Lennie work on farms around the country. But they have a plan for the future. They want to buy a farm and have animals and vegitables. But, first, they have to get some money. And Lennie has to stay out of trouble.

I like this story and this author, John Steinbeck.

I had a bad cold last week. So I was absent last week's class. Now I 'm so fine.

11th Book Review

I read a book "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court".
Hank Morgan works in a machine factory in Connecticut in USA. The year is 1879. He is in sixth century England by chance. He is taken a man who is a poloce to Camelot. In Camelot, King Arthur is now. Morgan meets King Arthur and lives in there together.
Few years later, Morgan thinks that he wants to change things in Camelot and make people's live better. One day, he wants to go away to understand living of people. And King says that he wants to go with, too. So they change their clothes. Because it is not to find that Arthur is for 'King' by many people. Many years later, Camelot changes everything. Morgan is changed there everything.
But Merlin the magician makes Morgan to sleep for thirteen centuries. He wakes up and have been a old man.

I think this story looks like 'Urashima-Taro' in Japanese fairy tales.

10th Book Review

I read a book "KING AUTHUR".
Arthur the King is one of famous in history. This book is written about his life history to his death from being 'King Arthur'. King Arthur could become the King the year 650 in England where is no king and people are fighting. It was through Merlin the magician.
But his half-sister, Morgan, and her son, Morderd are very dangerous. So King Arthur was impiety, after he died.
